Keep active, keep happy

During the months of lockdown I provided temporary escapism through the medium of teaching dance for those hit financially and emotionally.
Those classes were free with an option to donate.
As an ISTD qualified dance teacher with extensive experience, you always know you will be safe even without face to face guidance, alongside a great experience.

Learn something new

It's a variety show

In March the government put a stop to fitness classes and suddenly I had to merge my real life Latin students with online Musical Theatre friends, and co-workers from Afrobeat videos.....the only option was to create a class that evolved and developed with my students.

A class that one day puts the Hakuna in Matata, and the following day gets sassy with some salsa. The obvious next class has to have us dancing in the street with the Vandellas.

Testimonials from students state that they initially came for one style, and stayed day after day for the feel good vibe and quality of teaching.

Allow me to open your eyes to new genres of music and dance and trust you will have a smile on your face whilst doing so.

Solo Dance Spotlights

In partnership with All Mixed Up

Celebrating black people and what it means to be black has always been a massive part of my life as a mixed heritage woman, but recent events have brought this to the forefront of my mind.
Alongside acknowledging black artists, I have developed #solodancespotlights which feature in the last 10 minutes of every class and rotate between: showcasing an important black historical figure, discussing our attitudes toward racism, and highlighting local black entrepreneurs

Private lessons

A personal experience

I offer skype/facebook video call lessons, so geography is no longer an obstacle in learning with me.

I have developed simple ways of breaking down more complex body movements commonly used in social partner dance scenarios (salsa/bachata.)

Perfect these and surprise your dance partner next time you go out partying.

I also offer more general routine based lessons which focus on gaining more confidence within styles including jazz, tap, salsa, afrobeats

All lessons are suitable for all ages and from beginners to professional
